Measurements
Mrs. Brown came up with an activity to help the students practice measuring to the nearest inch and centimeter. Students had to measure how high they could jump vertically and how far in long jump. Frisbees were also used to see how far the class could toss. Leaf tracings allowed the students to measure the leaves.

When we saw our mentors we talked about smoking, drinking, and texting while driving is bad. We all drew pictures. Some of the sayings were "Budweiser's not your supervisor" , "Bud light is not all right," "Smoke is no joke"!
We also had OLSATs on Friday. It wasn't fun. It was very long. We had 72 questions. It took 40 minutes.

Math:
Finishing Chapter 3. We will be giving out a study guide to work on during the week. We will review the study guide on Friday.
3 Minute Math Facts Quizzes have started. I am proud of the scores!
Chapter 3 math test next Monday, October 22!
Reading:
Project due October 31.
Still working on current unit, cause and effect
Science:

We will not be focusing on Science due to the OLSAT.

The Indian Regions projects looked great!
